 Plot: The lives of a newly married couple change drastically when Kashmiri militants abduct the husband. The rest of the film is about how the wife, against all odds, tries to rescue her husband.

Missile: Roja not only focused on its central protagonist, Madhoo, in search of her husband, it also offered an insight into the life and mind of a terrorist.

Blast from the past: Karisma Kapoor was offered the part of a Kashmiri girl, but she declined to play second fiddle to Madhoo.
