What are the major milestones that you have achieved?
Our flagship offering, DACX Contact Center Suite was extremely successful within a year and half, and we hit the $1 million mark sooner than expected.
The second major milestone was the launch of technology platform DACX Ameyo. We manged to get key customers like Motilal Oswal, Bookmyshow, IMRB, Kochar, Origin, Symbio, Damas, etc.
Last year (2008) was great as we won many awards including the Nasscom Innovation Award, TMCNet and ContactCenterWorld awards (both international). We have over 250 clients abroad.
We were also on Deloitte Fast 500 companies in Asia, and a Red Herring APAC Finalist. There is more to come and am hopeful that Drishti and Ameyo will become worldwide brands.
What are your views on innovation in India? How important is innovation for a company?
Indian enterprises have their own challenges. The transaction and infrastructure costs have to be kept extremely low to stay competitive and reach a larger customer base.
As enterprises grow, the technology implementations become more complex. To do this, organisations need powerful leaders who can establish right practices, particularly to innovate constantly and bring best results in business.
