Although they started with the N-Logue kiosks, today the company encourages rural entrepreneurs.
"We have developed our own parameters of selecting dedicated rural entrepreneurs. Besides the infrastructure requirements, we lay emphasis on their dedication and commitment. They are our franchisees and each franchisee helps us in sourcing candidates from his network. He also assists in training them."
Currently, eJeevika trains rural people in retailing, security services and data entry. The reason why they started a course in data entry was because they found that many 10th and 12th pass youth aspire for a white collar job in an office.
One of the enterprises eJeevika has tied up with is DesiCrew. "We train people for DesiCrew also. While DesiCrew provides employment in the villages, we train them for employers. The uniqueness of our model is that placement precedes training. First, the client selects the candidates and then we train them."
