Corruption is perceived as minimal in Australia with a score of 2.40. The government actively promotes international efforts to curb the bribing of foreign officials.
Australia also helps countries in the Asia Pacific region fight corruption.
Australia believes that to reduce poverty in the Asia Pacific region, corruption must be curbed to boost the economy.
