Madurai has been a beneficiary of Tamil Nadu's pro-IT sector policy that helps the growth of IT firms in the state and helps attract more investment in the sector.
Nasscom identifies Madurai as a city with great potential to become a big BPO hub. Already many IT-BPO companies have begun to set up base in this city.
