Iraq scored 1.5 points -- same as in the previous survey. This makes Iraq the 3rd most corrupt nation on Earth, after Somalia and Myanmar.
Reasons for Iraq's poor score:
Political unrest
Incessant warfare
Repeated foreign invasions
People's incompetence
Bangladesh continues to be the most corrupt among the South Asian countries and is ranked at 162.
