Somalia is the most corrupt nation in the world and ranks 179. It scored 1.4 points as against 2 points in the previous survey.
The country ranked the same in the previous survey too.
Reasons for Somalia's poor score:
Political unrest.
Unstable governance.
Tacit approval by the government.
Dwindling state of law and order.
