Why Bill Gates likes India

June 27, 2008

Gates' aid to India
Bill Gates believes that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation can go a long way in eradicating diseases and developing the healthcare system in India.

In 2002, Gates announced a grant of $100 million to start a new initiative to prevent the spread of AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) in India.

Gates wants to make sure that AIDS doesn't become an epidemic in India. Gates believes that nothing should come in the way of India becoming a successful nation.
