The Rs 4,000-crore township that farmers built

Have other farmers in this area or elsewhere in the state or country approached you for advice or asked you to develop their land?

Some people have approached us to buy their land. We refused because we have not finished this project. Others have come to develop their land like this. They ask us to put in some money. So a part of the land will become ours and then they want to follow this model.

Are they approaching you as an individual or the Magarpatta company?
They have to approach the company. I lost my individuality long ago. Now everything I do is for the company. Our company. We get one proposal every week.

What are your future plans?
We are planning a multiplex and a mall. But both will not be within the city. It will be on the border. It will be accessible to the people of this city and it will also be for others. We are also planning a residential hotel on the outskirts.

After this is done, what will be your next project?
We are looking at two or three projects. It will be like this one. It's at the nascent stage so I cannot tell you details.

What is your mantra for success?
It's a simple three-D formula. Desire, Devotion and Dedication.
