What: A four-ton-helicopter
Known as: EC145

The helicopter is planned to be operated throughout India from Delhi. Before shipment, it was handed over to Captain Daman Seigell, chief pilot of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd in the presence of Rainer Farid, regional Eurocopter sales director for India, in Eurocopter's EC145 production site in Donauwoerth, Germany.
Powered by two Turbomeca Arriel 1E2 engines, this aircraft has the technology for safe, reliable and economic operation.
The EC145 is capable of transporting up to 10 people (one pilot + nine passengers).
The single-pilot-IFR-certified EC 145 features a night-vision goggle-compatible, digital glass cockpit with multi-function displays, largely reducing pilot's workload and facilitating day-and-night operations.
