The stress just melts away

November 25, 2008
Following the massage, I lay in the Jacuzzi for half an hour, thinking how easy it would be to get used to this. When I think 'spa', I think massages, orchids floating in large bowls of water, aromatic oils and soft yellow lights. Lately, though, these spas seem to be popping up everywhere -- every hotel worth its salt boasts of one. However, it's the destination spa and the resort spa that really take this business seriously. Typically, one would spend two to seven days here, indulging oneself or maybe even making serious lifestyle changes.
