The absolute serenity of Coorg

I visited Coorg last year and was awed by the magical beauty of this simple hill station. I say simple because unlike most other South Indian hill stations, Coorg, situated on Karnataka's Western Ghats, strongly retains its rural aura, untouched by the commercialisation that generally spreads like wildfire in most tourist destinations.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

Another special feature of this place was that in the rainy season, it pours continuously! The rains varies musically from sweet-sounding drizzles to mighty downpours.
