Dealing with negative feedback or criticism during your appraisal is something you must be prepared for.
For instance, if you are bluntly told about your negatives, you may instinctively feel hurt and react negatively.
Compose yourself, take stock, analyse and only then react.

~ Always have an objective approach.
~ Be determined to grow.
~ Be ready to accept your mistakes.
ii. Work at making yourself mentally stronger through methods like meditation, etc.
iii. Improve your capacity to accept criticism by widening your horizons through your interaction with people, reading books, socialising and getting more exposure.
