Abhishek Bachchan was the original choice for Fardeen Khan's role. But he did not have the dates and Khan stepped in.

In Bhoot, Fardeen plays Ajay Devgan's mysterious neighbour. To portray intensity he sports a stubble. 'I have a soft face. That did not go well with my character which has grey shades. I was required to project a lot of maturity,' he says.
