After making his presence felt in Satyajit Ray's Shatranj Ke Khiladi and Shyam Benegal's Kalyug, Victor Banerjee played Dr Aziz in David Lean's A Passage To India.

International cinema didn't do too much for the talented actor who only had Ronald Neame's farce Foreign Body and Roman Polanski's Bitter Moon on his cv.

Bhoot marks his return to Hindi cinema. He plays Urmila Matondkar's psychiatrist.

This is the fifth film which pairs Urmila and Ajay Devgan. They worked together in Bedardi, Kanoon, Deewane and Deewangee.
