Aamir Khan's Lagaan was one of the most successful films of 2001. It even won an Oscar nomination. Unfortunately, none of its success rubbed off on its female lead Gracy Singh, who seems to have been completely ignored by film-makers.

The Delhi girl and former television actress (Amanat) does, however, have Prakash Jha's Gangaajal, a remake of the Telugu hit Badri, and Armaan in her kitty.

Randhir Kapoor makes a rare appearance in Armaan (his last Hindi film was Saawan Kumar's Mother in 1999) as Sonia's father.

Hrithik Roshan also performs a cameo.
