First-time director Sushen Bhatnagar admits the inspiration for Soch came from legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock.

'The film deals with human psychology. That is why we are calling it a psychothriller, not a whodunit,' explains Bhatnagar.

The director chose a not-so-famous starcast, Raveena Tandon being an exception, because he felt the roles were tailormade for them (Sanjay Kapoor, Aditi Govitrikar, Arbaaz Khan).
