Malaika Arora, who has appeared in one-song numbers in films like Tinnu Verma's Maa Tujhe Salaam, Sunny Deol's Indian, Guddu Dhanoa's Bichchoo, the popular Chaiyyan Chaiyyan from Mani Ratnam's Dil Se, plays Sunil Shetty's love interest in Kaante.

The now very pregnant Arora also appears in the sizzling cabaret number Mahi ve in the film.
