'I'm sure Asoka will be successful. '

I have around 15 scenes in the film. But I haven't seen the film yet.

Suresh Menon, Johnny Lever and I play three soldiers in King Asoka's army. We are actually the narrators of the story, from the start to the finish. We explain Asoka's moves and thoughts. I'm also a soothsayer, so I predict his ways too. We add a bit of humour to the film.

My part was shot in five days at Film City, Bombay. It was in the month of March.

I've known Shah Rukh since our theatre days in Delhi, before he joined films. We belonged to the TAG theatre group. We even did our first play together. Manoj Bajpai was part of it too.

It was very easy working with Shah Rukh since I knew him so well, though I didn't have any scenes with him. But during those five days of shooting, he'd come on the sets, watch the shooting and chat with us.

I'm sure Asoka will be successful.
