Godse then abruptly calls for an end to the interview. But before leaving, he hands over a copy of the book that he has written -- 'Why I assassinated Mahatma Gandhi'.

I ask, "Is this for me?"

"For Rs 150."

While I fish for money in my pocket, he adds, "I have published 'May It Please Your Honour', written by Nathuram Godse. It is for Rs 50."

I decline the offer.
