Constituency: Mumbai North-West

Sunil Dutt, 74-year-old actor-turned-politician, defeated Sanjay Nirupam of the Shiv Sena by a margin of 47,358 votes. The Congress candidate had a very clean image and is a staunch believer in secularism. He has always fought his battles on his own and refused to take actor son Sanjay Dutt's help while campaigning.

Sanjay though decided to surpise his father by joining him on one of his campaign trails.
