Do you see any statesmen among our current politicians?
There are a lot of young, well-educated politicians now. I am sure they will lead the nation in the right direction.
Do you feel more youngsters should enter politics?
We should have more youngsters, but we also should have the older generation behind them, guiding them. If we have energetic youngsters with experienced elders behind them, I am sure India will be one of the topmost nations in the coming years.
Has the attitude towards politics and politicians changed?
It has, and it has to. We are feeling good now. Things have changed for the better. You look at the dollar rate against the rupee, it is phenomenal that it has been under control for the last three years. Forex (reserves) has risen. The spending capacity per person has increased. The average Indian has more spending power right now.
