The Cape Town wicket is the perfect track for the fast bowlers and Edwards made Kolkata pay for their decision to bat first on the wicket. He was quite unlucky not to have gobbled up a few wickets as the ball flew past the edges quite a few times.

He consistently bowled around the 140kmph mark and troubled the three best batsmen in the Kolkata line-up -- Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum and Sourav Ganguly.

His fiery spell saw him register 4-1-6-0 -- the most economical figures in a completed four-over spell in the IPL.
