De Villiers is congratulated by Harbhajan Singh after scoring a century.
The hundred was the fifth of his career and second this year, after his unbeaten 103 against the West Indies in the third and final Test at Durban in January.
South Africa haven't lost a Test in which De Villiers scored a century. It looks like the record will continue.
