Waqar calls it quits

On his day, Waqar was capable of running through the best. 13 five-wickets hauls in 259 ODIs are proof of his prowess.

He took 416 wickets in ODIs at an amazing strike rate of 30.52.

He made an unceremonius exit from the game after being sacked following Pakistan's miserable performance in the 2003 World Cup. All attempts at a comeback were stalled by the authorities. The 'Burewala Express' came to a sudden grinding halt!
