The Prince who became King

The long break after the World Cup will have the done the Indian team a lot of good. But the challenges of the series' against New Zealand and Australia loom large before Ganguly. The Indian skipper will be keen to avenge the humiliation India suffered in Kiwiland.

"The Aussies must remember that they have not played well in India in recent times. They lost the Test series in India in 2001. If we happen to meet in the final of the tri-series, they will have a battle on hand," he said.

On the occassion of his 31st birthday, one can only wish him and India success.
