Over the past two days, the nation watched its esteemed Parliamentarians taking digs at each other, disrupting the proceedings and alleging that they have been threatened and bribed.
The drama inside Parliament was complemented by the media frenzy outside, as journalists and OB vans parked themselves at Parliament Complex and proceeded to narrate a blow-by-blow account of the political soap opera.
It was a long day for several people, including the many security personnel deployed outside Parliament. But they braved the sapping humidity and handled the assembled public and media with a smile and were always courteous.
