The man they called the Nazi hunter is no more. Simon Wiesenthal, the Holocaust survivor who fought anti-Semitism all his life, has died in Vienna. He was 96. Among the lucky few who survived the Nazi concentration camps of World War II, Wiesenthal did what most other survivors didn't - he refused to forget. Following the war, he spent all his life speaking out for 6,000,000 Jewish victims and hunting down their murderers across the globe. He also founded the Simon Wiesenthal Centre, in 1977.

Its famous Museum of Tolerance is, today, an international hub for the remembrance of the Holocaust and its victims.
