The 50th anniversary of Elvis' arrival
On January 28, 1956, Elvis underwent an image makeover. After his first appearance on national television for the CBS Stage Show, he went from lowly truck driver to incredible icon.
There were more television appearances to follow that year, along with four records that hit Number One, and also his first movie -- Love Me Tender.
A legend was born. And, 50 years on, the King still makes those hearts flutter.
