On the tiger trail, in Corbett
Talk about lucky coincidences!
We were looking for options for a short break not too far from Lucknow -- where we had to attend a friend's wedding -- when we came across information on the Corbett National Park.
What fun it would be to go on a tiger trail, we thought. We -- Manish, Namu, Damu, Anup and me -- were meeting more than three years after college.

Namu asked her uncle in Delhi to book us a taxi to Corbett. We left Delhi at 6 am. Corbett is 300 km from Delhi and only 145 km from Lucknow. Our final destination was Lucknow after a two-day halt at Corbett.
We stopped on the Moradabad Highway for a delicious breakfast of Parathas with butter and curd. The restaurant had pictures of Bollywood actors Esha Deol, Ajay Devgan, Sunny Deol and Rajpal Yadav with the owner on the walls!
