Actress and Rajya Sabha MP Shabana Azmi is among 25 Asians mentioned in TIME magazine, for making an impact on the lives of those around them.

She earns this recognition not only as an actress, but as an activist against sectarian violence too.

The list also includes India's ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

Actress and popular television anchor Sonali Bendre will be continuing her term as Watchmaker Omega's spokesperson.

Sonali, who made her mark as a successful television anchor with Kya Masti Kya Dhun has been Omega's spokeswoman for the last two years.

Big B to Promote Hindi Films In Britain

The British Film Institute (BFI) will launch a festival of South Asian Cinema, where films from South Asian countries will be screened all over England -- including a selection of Hindi films.

Hindi films being tremendously popular, the BFI has asked India's legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan to be their guest of honour.
