To celebrate the runaway success of British Indian comedy-Bend It Like Beckham, Gurinder Chadha, hosted a party at Mumbai's swanky nightclub Indigo.

The film revolves around two teenage girls ( played by Parminder Nagra and Kiera Knightley) and their love for football and David Beckham, who iconised the game.

Dressed in black, the director was accompanied by husband Paul Berges and producer of BILB Deepak Nayaar.
