Devdas music sold at Rs 120 million Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has sold the music of Devdas to Universal Music at Rs 120 million, a mark never ventured before. The album has 11 songs. The highlight of the album is the poetry of debutante lyricist Nusrat Badr. Badr has written about profound emotions in a simple style. After the stupendous success of Bansali's previous film, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999, the director-music composer (Ismail Darbar) is expected to create even more magic.
Manisha completes film in 16 days Director Shashilal Nair and Manisha Koirala have finished a film in only 16 days, a record for the industry. Though Nair refuses to talk about the film, he claims that the film is low-budget and hard-hitting. His earlier films, One Two Ka Four and Grahan had bombed at the box office.
Sunidhi Chauhan marries Bobby Khan According to rumours, singer Sunidhi Chauhan has married Bobby Khan, the director of her latest music video, Pehla Nasha. The yound singer has been a professional since she was seven years old. She had stated in a recent interview that 'he knows me and brings out the best in me'. Bobby Khan is the brother of choreographer Akbar Khan.
