A 'strong' appeal to voters

April 13, 2009
After campaigning for Congress nominee from Unnao, Anu Tandon, and Bharatiya Janata Party's Vinod Khanna from Gurdaspur, Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Sunday came out in support of Congress candidate Milind Deora, who is contesting from the prestigious south Mumbai constituency.

Participating in a road show, the 43-year-old actor made a strong appeal to the electorate to vote for the young sitting MP who is seeking a re-election, saying he was "efficient" and his "intentions" were good.
