New Zealand vs Australia
Third ODI
New Zealand were dismissed for just 97 runs in the third One-Day International of the tri-series against Australia on Wednesday. That total would have been even lower had Craig McMillan not had a slice of good fortune. With the score 28 for 5, umpire S Venkatraghavan failed to hear a faint nick off McMillan's bat that carried to keeper Adam Gilchrist off Nathan Bracken. McMillan went on to become New Zealand's top scorer with 24 runs.
The highest contribution to the Kiwi innings though came from extras. The Australians bowled 18 wides in a total of 32, with Brad Williams accounting for nine.
