It's the Indians versus the Aussies again. The World Cup defeats are history and with a depleted bowling attack Ricky Ponting will hope his batters are ready to chase down huge totals and his bowlers and fielders take every chance that comes their way

India vs Australia
Second ODI

Three wickets down with only 140 on board, the Aussies needed a partnership at that stage if they were going to successfully chase the India's daunting total of 283.

Just then a dubious decision by Indian umpire K Hariharan sent Andrew Symonds back to the pavilion. Zaheer Khan bowling from round the wicket got a ball to slant in to the batsman rapping him on the pads. The natural angle of the delivery would have missed the leg-stump. But the umpire thought otherwise and gave marching orders to Symonds. From 132 for no loss, the world champions were reduced to 141 for the loss of 4 wickets.
