 A doughty late order batsman, Vettori has often been New Zealand's first choice for the role of night-watchman. He is special because he is a thinking cricketer, and positive one at that too, always looking to attack and win. He averages only around 10.93 in ODIs but is capable of coming up with a trick or two when the need arises. |
