Emirates plane 'hijacked'; lands in Yemen: Report

An agency report quoting Aden airport sources said an Emirates airliner was 'hijacked' on Monday, but it has landed safely in Aden, southern Yemen.

But the same report quoted an emirates spokesman denying the 'hijack'.

The spokesman reportedly said, "One of the indicator lights came on in the cockpit and the captain decided to go to the nearest airport,"

No further details were available, and the report could not be independently confirmed.
