According to a study conducted by Microbiologists from Nottingham University, it was found that a dirty car is a breeding ground for deadly germs and bacteria like E Coli (a type of bug), Bacillus cereus and Staphylococcus. This study was conduced by rubbing swabs on steering wheel, gear knob, door handles, car mats, under the seats and so on.
The types of bacteria that were found could lead to food poisoning, skin disorders, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea and other infections.
