Three people, including the CEO of a private IT company, have been arrested for alleged gangrape of a female manager of the company after a birthday party in Rajasthan's Udaipur, police said on Friday.
A purported video of the incident that happened in Tarpal village falling under Saira police station area on Saturday also surfaced on social media, they said.
An explosion occurred on a railway track in Udaipur on Sunday, hours before the recently inaugurated Asarwa-Udaipur Express train from Ahmedabad was to pass.
Azam's friend Iqbal, who was with him at the Udai Sagar lake when the alleged attack took place, told police that Azam engineered a "fake attack" on himself by using a country-made pistol, Udaipur Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Narzary said.
