Pakistan launched a military operation targeting terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan following a series of attacks, including a suicide bombing that killed Pakistani soldiers. The action comes after repeated calls for the Afghan Taliban to prevent terrorists from using Afghan soil to launch attacks against Pakistan.
Over 53 people have suffered injuries in the blast.

The suicide bombing near the diplomatic post was the first of three targeting Saudi Arabia on Monday -- including one outside the the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, Islam's second holiest site -- that killed four Saudi security troops and wounded five.
At least 53 people have been killed and nearly 140 injured in Pakistan in separate attacks, including a deadly suicide bombing in restive Quetta city.
"Our initial investigation suggests both the attacks were carried out by homegrown Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh," said the home minister.
