Twelve passengers were killed and 39 others injured when a Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus plunged into a deep gorge near Jogindernagar in Mandi district late on Saturday night.
Over 200 people remained stranded in rain-ravaged Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh for the past ten days as rescue operations were on Wednesday hampered and Indian Air Force and state choppers could not take off due to bad weather.
At least 18 people were killed and another 14 injured on Thursday when a private bus rolled 400 feet down into a gorge in Rohtrung village in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur district.
