Former Kerala cop convicted 40 years after murder

Forty years after the encounter death of Naxal leader A Varghese in the Waynad forests, a court in Kerala, Wednesday, found he had been 'brutally killed', and convicted former inspector general of oolice K Lakshmana, in the case while acquitting ex deputy general of police P Vijayan.
