The Mumbai Cricket Association is working with the Maharashtra state government to accelerate the development of a new 100,000-capacity cricket stadium in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
This is the question that comes again and again in the mind of every Mumbaiker regarding the Navi Mumbai airport. Though the proposal has been going back and forth to the Union Environment Ministry many-a-times, the ministry is yet to give a green signal to the project citing environmental concerns.
Says Bhushan-Essel combine, the highest bidder, has withdrawn but latter denies having done so.
