Seeking to get more leads into the Pune blast case, the Intelligence Bureau have informed the Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh police to get more clues regarding key man of the Indian Mujahideen, Riyaz Bhatkal.
Inspector General of Police Gopal Hosur informed that they were on a mission to eliminate four aides of the rival Ravi Poojary gang.
The Karnataka police claimed on Wednesday to have gathered clues after questioning over 200 persons, including Students Islamic Movement of India members, in connection with the serial blasts that rocked Bangalore in July, a top police official said in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
The Bangalore Police on Friday called for stringent security measures by organisations, whose employees work at odd hours, following a spate of late night crimes in the city. Many of these crimes were traced to drivers working with call centres in the city.
