Maoists for the first time claimed responsibility for the gruesome killing of Jharkhand police officer Francis Induwar.
Kundan Pahan, the prime suspect behind the beheading of Inspector Francis Induwar, might be among the Maoists who were injured in an encounter near Jonha, about 35 kms from Ranchi, even as search operations continued on Monday to trace them, the police said.
Congress general secretary visited the house of Inspector Francis Induwar in Naxal-hit Jharkhand on Thursday, who was beheaded by Maoists ten days back, and sympathised with his children, saying he had lost his father to a suicide bomber.
