Actor Aamir Khan's debut directorial venture Taare Zameen Par, a sensitive story of an eight-year-old dyslexia child, was selected as India's entry to the foreign language category for Oscars at the 81st annual Academy awards.
The decision to nominate the Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan-starrer film as the Indian entry for the awards was confirmed by Film Federation of India President Vinod Pande. This is the third time that a film by Chopra will be going to the awards.
