Compound archery will make its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games, providing a massive boost to India's elusive medal hopes in the precision sport.
The International Olympic Committee on Thursday announced that Nita Ambani, has been elected as an individual member of the IOC, and will become India's first woman to join the prestigious body.
According to the organisers, based on the feedback from the NOCs and NPCs, it is expected that a significant proportion of Games participants will have been vaccinated before arriving in Japan. The new MoU adds to these efforts.
