Former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi was on Monday removed as the Rajasthan Cricket Association president.
The Lalit Modi faction received a severe jolt on Tuesday with the Rajasthan high court ordering the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) elections be held on May 29.
Following his ouster as Rajasthan Cricket Association president Lalit Modi and his faction on Monday announced that they will move court against the decision and also challenge the appointment of Amit Pathan as the new chief of RCA.
The Rajasthan High Court cleared the decks for its state cricketers to participate in all the domestic tournaments by naming selection committees for senior, junior and women's cricket, which both Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) and BCCI accepted.
