As per location-specific salary trends, IT capital Bangalore tops the chart as the highest paying city in the country, with an average annual CTC paid for talent across all levels and functions at Rs 14.6 lakh.
Among the sectors, the survey has projected IT, pharma and life sciences, and ITeS among those looking to effect the highest increase in salaries.
The average salaries for vocational jobs have grown by 18% whereas engineering and MBA jobs rose only by 4% and 3% respectively.
